An AFC South rivalry renews in Week 6 when the Indianapolis Colts travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans.
Both teams are in dire need of a divisional win, but my Colts vs. Titans predictions believe the quarterback struggles will continue for both sides. Find out why I am projecting a low-scoring affair in my NFL picks for Sunday, October 13.

My analysis
As of Friday afternoon, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is a game-time decision. I am making this pick under the assumption he is starting, but this handicap still holds weight if Joe Flacco ends up getting the nod.
The Colts are extremely banged up heading into this Week 6 contest, with superstar running back Jonathan Taylor ruled out and wideouts Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs both hobbled. This poses a major problem against the best passing defense in the league, as the Tennessee Titans only allow 124.0 passing yards per game and 4.6 passing yards per play — with their success coming from blitzing on just 17.6% of plays.
Meanwhile, the Titans are struggling offensively with Will Levis, which has led to points for their opponents. They have allowed 22 points directly from touchdowns scored by opposing defenses and special teams. However, he knows his leash as a starter is much shorter now — and if he makes any more mistakes, the Titans will make the switch to Mason Rudolph.
We should see a much more conservative approach from Levis on Sunday, similar to the game plan we saw with Rudolph in Miami after Levis left due to injury. The Tennessee defense will also do its part to keep the scoring down, and I would be surprised to see either team reach 20+ points.

Along with taking the Under, I’m also backing the Titans to cover the spread. A low-scoring game is exactly what Tennessee wants and plays into their hands, and the Colts have lost four consecutive road games dating back to last season.
I’m wrapping up this SGP by taking Levis to escape mistake-free. The Colts are likely without Pro Bowl corner Kenny Moore, and a much more conservative game plan for the second-year QB will result in fewer blunders.
